Setting an Exclusion

Before running the bot, it's recommended to exclude its folder from Windows Security scans to prevent false positives. Follow these steps:

  1. Open Windows Security
    • Click on the Start button (or press the Windows key).
    • Type Windows Security in the search bar and click on it when it appears.
  2. Navigate to Virus & Threat Protection Settings
    • In the Windows Security window, look at the left-hand menu and select Virus & threat protection.
    • Under the "Virus & threat protection settings" section, click on Manage settings.
  3. Access Exclusions
    • Scroll down until you find the Exclusions section and click on Add or remove exclusions.
  4. Add a New Exclusion
    • Click on the icon next to "Add an exclusion".
    • From the dropdown menu, select Folder.
    • A file explorer window will open. Navigate to the folder you wish to exclude from scans.
    • Select the folder and click Select Folder.
  5. Confirm Your Changes

    After adding the folder, it should now appear in your list of exclusions. There's no need to save; changes are applied automatically.

Running The Bot

To get started with the installation of the bot, put Cheddlatron.exe in its own folder and run it.

After running the executable, it will then generate all required files and folders for the bot to run.

Setting Up Your Config

Once the initial set up has finished, you will be prompted to enter various inputs regarding how you would like your config to be setup.

Token

The first input you will need is your discord token, this allows for the bot to access and run on your account.

If you are unsure on how to access your discord token please refer to the video below. Alternatively, you can use Our Tool to grab your token from any locally installed Discord client.

Prefix

Your prefix is what you will need to enter before any command so that the bot can register and distinguish normal messages from commands.

Example command: >help

In this example > would be my prefix.

Embed Mode

Your embed mode dictates how your bot looks when sending commands in chat, you can either have web or indent embeds and images of both are shown below.

This is a web embed:

Time Before Command Deletion

This is the amount of time before the bot automatically deletes outputs from a command.

Discord Rich Presence

This is a custom discord activity where you can change all text and images. rpc

Spotify Custom Activity

This is a custom version of discords spotify rich presence.

Ping Logger

This logs all messages that ping you in the console and to a webhook if webhook notifications are enabled.

DM Logger

This logs all Direct Messages to the console and a webhook if webhook notifications are enabled.

Giveaway Sniper

This automatically enters all giveaways hosted in any discord server you are a part of.

Giveaway Sniper Delay

This is the amount of time you would like the bot to wait to enter a giveaway.

Nitro Sniper

This automatically tries to redeem nitro codes sent in any discord server you are in.

Webhook Notifications

Turning this on results in all loggers and snipers logging results and messages to a webhook.

DM Logs Webhook

This is the webhook link you want logged DMs to be sent to.

Nitro Sniping Webhook

This is the webhook link you would like results of the nitro sniper to be logged to.

Giveaway Sniping Webhook

This is the webhook link you would like results of the giveaway sniper to be logged to.

Ping Logging Webhook

This is the webhook link you would like all messages that ping you to be sent to.

Custom Embed Theme

This is the file name of a custom embed theme in the directory Data\Settings\Configs\Ethemes if you have any.

Custom Console Theme

This is the file name of a custom console theme in the directory Data\Themes if you have any.

AFKMode

When toggled on this replies to anyone pinging you with a specific message.

AFK Message

This is the message that will be sent when AFKMode is enabled.

After Setup

After you have completed setting up the bot you will be greeted with the terminal, seeing this means that the bot is now on and ready to use.

To begin using the bot simply type (your prefix here)help in any discord channel.
